In this class, Natalie will guide you through her favorite techniques for bringing the flowers and birds from your backyard to life, primarily using watercolor with touches of mixed media for extra detail and texture.

In this journey, you’ll start with a warmup lesson creating a beautiful vision board—perfect for planning your masterpiece and experimenting with color palettes. You’ll learn how to blend multiple reference photos to create a stunning sunflower and a hummingbird, with techniques for achieving depth, texture, and realistic shadows.
