What we will learn together…
Lesson 1: Simply Sweet
Let us begin our artistic journey with a burst of freshness and beauty as we create a stunning piece on a 16x20 inch canvas in our first lesson. Delve into the world of color choices, mixing techniques, and the art of staying loose while mastering the subtle art of knowing when to say "it's done"! This lesson is the perfect way to warm up your creative muscles and get inspired with its fast-paced and fun approach.
lesson 2: A Touch of Autumn
In Lesson 2 we will go a little bit bigger with a 24x30 inch canvas(you can choose whatever size you wish of course!) We will explore some more gorgeous colour mixtures while chatting about following intuition, knowing when to stop and let the layers dry. When we are done you will have a warm, gorgeous abstract floral painting that will make you swoon with delight!
Lesson 3: Cascading Beauty
In Lesson 3 we will create beautiful cascading flowers on a 36x18 inch canvas. Discover the joys of creating loose flowers with a roller as I share with you a fun and easy technique. This lesson is super fun and the results are gorgeous!
Lesson 4: Flirtatious
In Lesson 3 we will once again paint an abstract from start to finish. Throughout the lesson I will share my favourite tips and techniques with a focus on using texture and values rather than colour to create a visually interesting piece.
Lesson 5: Blossoming Romance
Lesson 5 is all about painting a big beautiful mess of flowers! We will layer deep shades of pink and olive on a 24x36 inch canvas. I will share my thoughts on layering and following intuition while letting the paint guide the way.
BONUS LESSON: Enjoy the Journey
Sometimes in the studio things don’t go as planned! In this bonus lesson I will take you on a journey through a project with many, many layers! I will openly share my thoughts as the canvas challenges me over the course of a few painting sessions. This lesson has many twists and turns and offers a glimpse into my process when the camera isn’t rolling!
