What You’ll Learn in Class…

Warmup lesson

When you’re feeling uninspired or maybe even a little anxious to get started, it’s a good idea to begin with a very small task. Something you don’t have to really think about. Something you can’t possibly mess up.

In this warmup lesson I will show you several different approaches to make stress free backgrounds. All we’re gonna do here is to get rid of the white page. We can manage that for today, right?

Some backgrounds will inspire us like crazy and make us want to create a story instantly. Others might be a good first layer and may need some more TLC. Either way you can expect a lot of inspiration for how to create them and what to do with them.

MAIN LESSON

WONKY WEIRDOS TO THE RESCUE

In this lesson, we’ll explore what I like to call wonky weirdos. You can find them in the paint, like I will demonstrate, but feel free to do this in the way that suits you best. I’m here to give you as much inspiration as I can, but the power is yours to decide how this adventure will be the most fun for you.

Let’s embrace distortion and liberate ourselves from reality and beauty standards!

INTUITIVE ADVENTURES IN ACRYLIC PAINT

In this lesson I will show you how I create intuitive acrylic paintings. Like in the previous lesson we will go into it with no plan whatsoever and let the paint do the talking. Step by step we will get to know who or whatever decides to show up.

I believe this class can be enjoyed by all kinds of artists. Whether you’re budding or a little more seasoned: As long as an intuitive approach feels interesting to you, you will have fun.
