“Memory is the treasury and guardian of all things.”
A Live Online Class with Ivy Newport
I’m so very excited to invite you to a special LIVE collage class for our creative community : The Memory Keeper.
In this intimate workshop, we’ll create a richly layered collage inspired by timeless portraiture, sacred symbolism, and the art of remembrance. You’ll learn how to weave fragments of imagery, texture, and gold into a soulful composition that honors the beauty of memory and the quiet illumination that lives within us all.
Collage has always been one of my favorite ways to explore intuition and story. It teaches balance, composition, and visual harmony but more than that, it helps us listen to what’s trying to surface. Symbols appear, patterns repeat, and meaning reveals itself layer by layer. Whether you’re new to collage or an experienced artist, this process will help you slow down, trust your instincts, and create something truly personal. You can even include copies of your own precious letters or photos! These wonderful collages would make a very special gift too.
The best part? You don’t need to draw or paint to make something extraordinary. Just bring your glue, scissors, and an open heart . I’ll be right there with you, guiding you through each step of this luminous creative experience.
Read on to learn more…I hope you’ll join me for this magical exploration of art, reflection, and light.
xo,
Ivy

DOWNLOADABLE COLLAGE KIT
To get you started with some beautiful collage elements to work with, I’ve created this gorgeous collage kit that is a curated collection of imagery, textures, vintage papers and more, including nine beautiful hand selected and digitally edited muses that may serve as your Memory Keeper (or choose your own). You will have everything you need to create your collage.
Pages of goodness for you to play with and use over and over again! Just print these off at home or print them at your local office store or library. This collection includes the kinds of elements that I would use in my own collage work. A perfect balance of items that have the potential to create many unique collages that express your own story! Plus, they are all copyright free so no worries about how you use these collage sheets.
I print them out on regular printer paper, nothing fancy but you could explore printing them on tissue paper, rice paper or other papers you enjoy. You could also use them for doing image transfers.
Remember to go thru your own stash of collage papers, letters and photos that you could incorporate to further enhance and personalize your piece.
“Nothing is ever really lost to us as long as we remember it.”
