What we will learn together…
Lesson 1 : Gather Your Supplies
Gather your favorite bits and pieces, find a little nook where you feel happy, maybe on the floor where the sun shines in or at the dining room table, and get ready to take a little break from life to get refreshed.
lesson 2 : Create Your Own Collage
It's your chance to make your artwork look like YOU!
Using your own hand, creating piece by piece, not manufactured, but beautifully and organically hand made by you. Collage builds "history" and puts story into the work. The texture it creates is one of my favorite things to use while making art.
Lesson 3 : Design With Paint
Let's start making! Here's where you get to push the paint around and learn a couple of new skills. Watching the watercolor seep into the pages while creating shapes and loose botanicals will get you into the flow of fun and relaxation.
Lesson 4 : Layering Fun & Next Steps
Let's bring it all together! Using the collage fodder you created, adding meaningful words and mixed media goodies, you'll build up the layers to tell the story of the page. By the end of class, you will have made a beautiful, expressive mixed media art piece that reflects you
