Creative Perseverance
Hello, wonderful creative!
Another month has zipped by and we are noticing the subtle shift towards the light here in the Pacific Northwest. The sun is peeking out a little more and spring shoots are pushing their way up through the wet, cold earth. I always find Spring to be a time to reset and renew my creative practice. For those going into the Autumn, I think this can truly apply as well - because we are of the natural world, we can follow her patterns. In fact, I believe seasonal transitions can nurture and support our creative path, if we choose to align with them. Of course, transition means change and change can sometimes be met with resistance right?
Well, I recently had the wonderful opportunity to have a chat with my dear friend and fellow teacher and creative, Meg Yates, to discuss how we can stay committed to our creative journey even during resistance.
