An Abstract Landscape

An Abstract Landscape

IMG_4229.jpg

I'm excited to share this second Colorflow video tutorial with you! For this lesson, we will be drawing inspiration from page 112 of the Colorflow book! I will be showing you how to mix this color palette using only your primary colors plus, I’ll be showing you some premixed options too!

We will be creating a fabulous abstract landscape from this gorgeous image, however you are also welcome to do a more realistic approach too!

Let’s begin!

Here is the image used to create this piece. It comes via Unsplash.com and was created by the talented photographer, Mark Harpur.

Please feel free to downloand this copyright free image and use it to follow along until you get your copy of the Colorflow Book.

My Favorite New App!

This is the app I used to alter the photograph and get me started on abstracting the landscape! My friend, Kara Bullock showed me this incredible tip! Try it out for yourself! You can download it here.

I hope you enjoy…
