Welcome! I’ve created this special, FREE Art Journal Lesson just for you!
Today, I’m excited to share a really fun mixed media photo collage lesson that I did a few years ago for a collaborative class called 21 Secrets!
I absolutely loved using my own photos of my daughter to create this! I was greatly inspired by artists like Dominque Fortin and Corine Ko! I love the combination of photography, paint, collage and more! What an approachable and expressive way to create unique imagery!
Like many of you, I love color but the endless options can also be overwhelming! For me, I want Art Journaling to be an act of relaxation and exploration. It’s the perfect creative venue to play with new color combinations, so I love to gather my Martha Stewart paints and select just a few to paint with. I enjoy observing how the colors interact with each other and what they inspire in me!
Beautiful color combinations are all around us in photos, wallpaper, magazines, landscapes and even our closets! Start seeking out the hues that inspire you!
Come join me as I collage, paint and create with a limited color palette, inspired by a lovely scrap of wrapping paper!
I hope you enjoy this art journal photo collage!
