I’m Rachel Juanita, mixed media artist, teacher and spiritual formation coach.
When creativity is a calling

The sacred text above beautifully depicts my journey to and with art. In a time of trauma and heartache, God used art to allure me into a sacred and safe space to heal my heart and empower my Soul to Reign. There in the marks I was able to express the fullness of my emotions and create something beautiful out of pain and mess. Each creation became a dance with Our Creator and a beautiful step on the journey of emotional, spiritual and cultural healing. Art was more than paint on paper, it was and is a place of communion, creation and ministry.
