I knew I wanted my products based on organic herbal ingredients, so the first order of business was to begin learning about these fascinating plants. Like a hungry student, I rushed to the local library and checked out armfuls of heavy herbal encyclopedias.

I would sit transfixed by the sheer variety and history of these little weeds and overlooked foliage.
